Hey everyone, we’re aware that the website has been slow today. I basically want to fill you all in with what has happened. We’ve been growing very rapidly and our shared hosting provider cut us off. We were then forced to move to a Virtual Private Server. Which turns out to not be very good, as you all can see.
Now what we’re doing is moving over to a totally full dedicated server. This should speed everything up greatly and be able to handle all the traffic.
This costs a lot of money, if you love this site like we do we’d greatly appreciate any donations. $1-$500, it’s all greatly appreciated. The donate button is at the top of the page.
In the coming days, as soon as tonight or tomorrow, you’ll see down time again. I’ll update the downtime page with the new server IP as soon as it’s all going, that way you can speed up your DNS. Again, we’re very sorry for this, but it’s a good thing. Let’s get this all hammered out before release so we can continue to bring you the best RIFT content on the web.
