I have a love/hate relationship with dropped minipets. I love the feeling of being so fortunate as to see one of these pets drop and rush of emotion when I win the roll! However, I hate the seemingly endless grind of farming mobs just to get one to drop! But, love them or hate them, dropped minipets are here to stay!
The hauntingly adorable Ghost Screechling minipet is a dropped pet from Delve Screechers in normal Deepstrike Mines. Some players will be lucky enough to get this drop while leveling through this dungeon in their early 20s, while others like me will be going back later to solo bats for this ghostly companion.
If you want to start your own hunt for the Ghost Screechling just step into normal Deepstrike Mines and kill the first 2 – 3 mobs you see. Continue forward but do not go onto the bridge on your right, instead walk down the cliff to the bottom floor. Here you can take out the first mob of Delve Screechers to your right, then circle around the room going clockwise. As you finish off the last mob of Delve Screechers you’ll see the winding stairway in front of you, just take that back up to the entrance to reset and try again! Took me roughly two hours of farming to get my own Ghost Screechling to drop, but he was worth every minute!
