It’s been a while since we’ve seen the third tier of Planar Attunement (PA) on the PTS. Okay– a very long while. But it’s back now, and Trion seems actually ready to release it on live servers this time! The third tier is largely similar to the version previewed back in March, but there have been a few changes.

For your convenience, here’s a list of all of the current nodes in each of the sections. For weapon type nodes and stat nodes, I’ve just listed the type, since those will vary between callings. For nodes with multiple ranks and nodes, those numbers will show in parenthesis. If there’s no specific number of nodes, there is just that one node.

Note: As with all information on the Public Test Server (PTS), this is subject to change at any time.

Summon Group: Earth [Rank 0/1]
Cast Time: 4s
Cooldown: 1h
Summons your group to you. Can only be used while standing in an Earth rift.

Petrified Rune [Rank 0/1]
Instant (off GCD)
Cooldown: 30m
Absorbs up to 3439 damage for 2 minutes. Increases Dexterity and Intelligence by 60 for 15 minutes.

Safefall [3 Nodes - Rank 0/1]
Increases falling height before damage is taken by 2%.

Ascended Rebirth [Rank 0/1]
Reduces the cooldown of Soulwalk by 3 minutes.

Planar Charge [Rank 0/1]
Increases your maximum number of planar charges by 1.

Bane of Earth [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Increases damage done to creatures from Earth rifts by 1%.

Earth Ward [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Reduces damage taken from creatures from Earth rifts by 1%.

Earthen Protection [Rank 0/3]
Increase Earth Resistance by 2.

Planar Shielding [Rank 0/1]
Increases all resistances by 5.

Wield the power of Crucia, increasing your movement speed by 15% for 2 minutes.

Windsprint [Rank 0/1]
Increases unmounted, out of combat, movement speed by 2%.

Ascended Rebirth [Rank 0/1]
Reduces the cooldown of Soulwalk by 3 minutes.

Preferred Ally [Rank 0/1]
Increases the duration of buffs from abilities by 15%. Only affects buffs with 30 minute or longer duration.

Planar Charge [Rank 0/1]
Increases your maximum number of planar charges by 1.

Bane of Air [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Increases damage done to creatures from Air rifts by 1%.

Air Ward [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Reduces damage taken from creatures from Air rifts by 1%.

Storm Shield [Rank 0/3]
Increase Air Resistance by 2.

Summon Group: Fire [Rank 0/1]

Consuming Flame [Rank 0/1]
Instant
Cooldown: 30m
Deals 20% of incoming damage back to enemy on hit. Lasts for 2 minutes or until 25000 damage is taken.

Fire Spurs [3 Nodes - Rank 0/1]
Increases mounted movement speed by 2%.

Ascended Rebirth [Rank 0/1]
Reduces the cooldown of Soulwalk by 3 minutes.

Runic Mastery [Rank 0/1]
Increases the duration of temporary item enchants by 15%.

Flaring Charge [Rank 0/1]
Gives an additional Planar Charge when an effect grants Planar Charge.

Bane of Fire [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Increases damage done to creatures from Fire rifts by 1%.

Fire Ward [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Reduces damage taken from creatures from Fire rifts by 1%.

Heat Tempered [Rank 0/3]
Increase Fire Resistance by 2.

Restores Mana over time and increases Strength and Wisdom by 60 for 15 minutes.

Wave Rider [3 Nodes - Rank 0/1]
Increases swim speed by 5%.

Ascended Rebirth [Rank 0/1]
Reduces the cooldown of Soulwalk by 3 minutes.

Flowing Charge [Rank 0/1]
Gives an additional Planar Charge when an effect grants Planar Charge.

Bane of Water [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Increases damage done to creatures from Water rifts by 1%.

Water Ward [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Reduces damage taken from creatures from Water rifts by 1%.

Protection of the Seas [Rank 0/3]
Increase Water Resistance by 2.

Planar Shielding [Rank 0/1]
Increases all resistances by 5.

Reduces the cooldown of Soulwalk by 3 minutes.

Increases the duration of buffs from abilities by 15%. Only affects buffs with 30 minute or longer duration.

Planar Surge [Rank 0/1]
25 Power (cost depends on calling)
Instant
Cooldown: 1h
Planar energies surge within the Ascended, granting them a Planar Charge.

Increases damage done to creatures from Life rifts by 1%.

Life Ward [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Reduces damage taken from creatures from Life rifts by 1%.

Living Ward [Rank 0/3]
Increase Life Resistance by 2.

Gravewalk [3 Nodes - Rank 0/1]
Increases movement speed while Soul Walking by 5%.

Ascended Rebirth [Rank 0/1]
Reduces the cooldown of Soulwalk by 3 minutes.

Runic Mastery [Rank 0/1]
Increases the duration of temporary item enchants by 15%.

Sacrifice Life: Planar Charge [Rank 0/1]
Instant
Cooldown: 1h
Sacrifices 15% of the Ascendant’s Maximum Health to grant them a Planar Charge.

Bane of Death [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Increases damage done to creatures from Death rifts by 1%.

Death Ward [3 Nodes - Rank 0/3]
Reduces damage taken from creatures from Death rifts by 1%.

Grave Ward [Rank 0/3]
Increase Death Resistance by 2.

    I think it could be better for a tier 3 PA. dont need to be OP, just a really rank 3.

    Just a head’s up Elrar said on the Massively article that this will most likely not be out for 2.1. maybe 2.2 Which at the rate Trion’s going will be sometime in Jan. :)

    I hit max pa more or less a year ago. And at its current form T3 looks like it offers too little too late

    I hit max ~a year ago (~late jan – early feb).
    In its current form T3 PA is too little too late. Stands as mere gimmick to make their competitive 60lvl players continue logging. Not a bad thing but it’s far too obvious now

    With the inflation of stats from 50-60 earning a PA point to get like +1 endurance is not super worthwhile. Blue runes can give you +23 on 3 slots… I can buy those for like 20 plat which is NOTHING at 60… were as for attunement I can max all of tier 3 earth to get 15 points…

    Tier 3 stat based buffs should have been doubled… as should attack power buffs because from 50-60 those things about doubled so those points hold half the value they used to have… Anyone here follow that logic?
