Being new to the world of Telara is a daunting experience, looking at all those high level Clerics with their shiny armour wandering around on fantastic mounts bristling with weapons and virtually aglow with magic can be enough to cause the new Cleric  to think they can never be that good.

Fear not the challenge, for here is a way to beat the levelling woe’s and become one of those Clerics you first looked up to.

This guide is set out to make the transition from level 10 to level 60 as painless as possible if you have to do it Solo or with a friend. So the first thing you need to do is get out of the starting zone by following the quest line and get to today’s Telara, you should be around level 8 when you emerge, I’d suggest following the quest line till you get to level 10 then you can reset your souls to take advantage of this guide.

Speculating about the possible new Cleric Storm Legion soul is an interesting experience in creativity. Clerics are the class that can do everything, the Swiss army knife of classes, in a way. But that, of course, doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. There’s always room for improvement, especially when it comes to the Cleric DPS souls. So hopefully we’ll see some of that as Trion re-balances the souls for synergy. But what about the new soul?

Zinbik, Trion’s Cleric lead, has gone on record saying we won’t be receiving a pure support soul (although that could change, I suppose). It seems unlikely that we’ll receive a fourth healing soul, since our healing spectrum is fairly wide already. We have a wide array of DPS souls, too, and Justicar is currently in a pretty good place mitigation and threat-wise, which makes it strange to imagine another Cleric tanking soul. Still, we could see one. We could also see another DPS soul, one that synergizes better with the current setup.

Welcome to the second part of the cleric calling overview! In this article, I will go over clerics as DPS. We will be covering our four DPS souls in more detail with a focus on PvE. This analysis includes mechanics, play style, build suggestions, and suggestions on DPS rotations or priorities. In addition to analyzing clerics, I will delve into general PvE/PvP DPS practices for beginners. I don’t claim to be the highest authority when it comes to maximizing DPS performance, but I’m not entirely bad myself. I will at least try to start you on the path to being a respectable DPS.
