Mages are slowly getting an updated selection of minions and elemental creatures to assist them during their adventures, and during this past week’s updates, we’ve seen another new pet model make its way to the Public Test Server. Necromancers now have an updated model for both their Lesser and Greater Skeletal Zealot melee DPS minions. The models are probably not final in their current state due to some of the animations not being exactly correct, but the models themselves seem close to completion. Necromancers are offensive mages who have mastered the forbidden art of reanimating the dead and binding them to their will. Their twisted magic allows them to siphon off the vital essence of their opponents leaving them frail and unable to defend themselves from their undead minions.

The Necromancer is a very easy Soul to master in the Mage Calling. It allows the Mage to use deadly spells that drain an opponent’s vital energies and leaves them vulnerable to our undead minion’s attacks. Necromancers rely heavily on their undead pets; therefore almost every spell they cast will benefit their pets in one way or the other.
