RIFT™: CONQUEST COMING NEXT WEEK

Rift™: Conquest, the 9th massive update to Trion’s hit MMORPG, launches next week. Adding a host of new features, including three-faction PvP, a new raid Sliver, and a mentoring system that allows high level Ascended to play with their low level friends, Rift: Conquest continues Trion’s commitment to ongoing improvement and integration of player-requested content.

Rift: Conquest features:

• Conquest – Choose one of three faction groups for an all-out, cross-shard PvP war in an alternate-reality version of Stillmoor. Battle to control the Sourcestone Extractors, craft engines of war to aid your team, and build up bonuses that last beyond victory
• Instant Adventure – Instant Adventure comes to Freemarch, Silverwood, Gloamwood, and Stonefield
• Mentoring – Progress your character while helping your friends with low-level content
• Barbershop – Change your appearance with a quick trip to the Stylist
• New Sliver – Defeat Fae Lord Twyl in Primeval Feast
• World Event – Camp out with Summerfest and participate in scavenger hunts throughout Telara

Eighth Rift™ update brings new 20-person raid, tradeskills, and leaderboards

As the Telaran sun sets on the Carnival of the Ascended, a violent new day breaks next week as Trion Worlds launches Infernal Dawn, the next Rift™ content update. The update’s centerpiece is a new 20-person raid that pits players against the dragon lords Maelforge and Laethys within the volcanic depths of Ember Isle’s Mount Carcera. Additional features include a guild finder tool, leaderboards, Fishing and Survival tradeskills, and Instant Adventure on Ember Isle.

Rift™: Ashes of History Hitting Servers Next Week

Chronicles, Planar Attunement, a new warfront, veteran awards, and more await players in the latest game update

Learn what it truly means to be an Ascended next week when Trion Worlds releases Rift™: Ashes of History, the fifth major content update to the popular MMORPG. In the six months that game servers have been live, Guardian and Defiant heroes have travelled to every corner of Telara, vanquishing planar invaders, fighting for their faction in Warfronts, and exploring the world’s many dungeons.

Now the time has come for players to begin a fresh chapter in their Rift journey as new, sinister threats begin to emerge. Ashes of History kicks off the game’s next evolution with a host of new features and additional content, including post level-50 advancement, duo dungeons, a new Warfront, and much more.

With the head start starting in just over three weeks, which calling will you playing when the game releases?

For a few weeks we’ve been asking our readers to tell us how much they think they will be playing Rift: Planes of Telara when it is released. As you can see most people will be playing twenty one or more hours a week. For a community that is still largely growing and is still populated mostly by the dedicated this is not a surprising result. I voted for the 21-30 range however I’m extremely jealous of those that get to play even more! I must be getting old.

Of course, like most people, I will probably end up taking a day or two off of work and playing way too much Rift when it releases. Oh and this was a new record; 55 people participated. Lets try to get to 100.
